Label support in beta, featured artists

Hello!

Thank you for your continued support of jam.coop. It's been great to hear from so many of you and to see new music being added to the platform.

Label support in beta

We've recently added support for record labels to jam. If you run a label you can now add releases (with catalogue numbers) and combine them into a dedicated label page.

We've been testing this with a couple of early adopters (shout out to yk Records and UNTONE music - thank you!) and would like a few more people to kick the tires before rolling this out to everyone.

If you run a label and would like to put your releases on jam.coop - please hit reply or email us at contact@jam.coop and we'll enable the feature for you to try out.

Featured artists

We've added a new "featured artists" section to the jam.coop homepage. The intention of this is to help new visitors find some great music and showcase inspiring, human-made artwork. There's loads more things we'd like to do to help new visitors discover things they like on jam, and we'll be working on these next year.

Getting our ducks in a row

We've been spending a lot of time over the last few weeks speaking to various experts about the legal/regulatory side of jam.coop. We're a UK-based co-op, with customers and artists/labels all over the world. We need to make sure we're compliant with all the relevant regulation so that we can be sure we'll be here for the long haul. We're hoping as part of this process to make it clear how you can become a member of the jam.coop co-operative.

If you happen to be an expert in the legalities of running online marketplaces in the UK we'd love to hear from you!

Thank you!

Thank you all for your support in 2025. We wish you all a restful break over the festive period.
