All titles have no real meaning in relation to the music: I find odd and interesting things in my meanderings which amuse me for some reason and I note them down. They are mostly applied after the music is written. Occasionally I'll come across a bunch of things and make a note in advance but there is still no relevance or relation between the title and the music.

The meaning of things:-

Gert Lush : sort of means very nice, perhaps mostly in Bristol but also all over the West Country. I consider myself to be half Isle of Dogs, London (my mother) and half Wells, Somerset (father). I was born and lived in the West Country for my first 19 years and then came to London. West Country dialect would be my first language. I'm way more RP now - not sure why really.

Jejune : Jejunum : is two things, Jejune means naive, simplistic, and superficial whereas Jejunum is the part of the small intestine between the duodenum and ileum which leads us on to:-

Loop of Henle : which is the portion of a nephron that leads from the proximal convoluted tubule to the distal convoluted tubule in the kidney (see another track in another place I called Islets of Langerhans which are in your pancras). These and other marvelous potential song titles can be found in "Anatomical Oddities" by Alice Roberts.

Sometimes Unicorn : This comes from a Tweet or Toot of Miranda Keeling "Little girl on the bus (to me): Santa has 3 deer (holds up 4 fingers) and they are called Snowflake, Sometimes Unicorn and Horse".

Aaaaaaah, mlem, mlem : This is a cat yawning.

Yukon : Canadian territory names after the river which is a "contraction of the words in the Gwich'in phrase chųų gąįį han, which means white water river".

Red Cabbage Fandango : I was reminded of a friend who often confused fandango with fiasco ("it was a complete fandango"). Red cabbage is a cabbage that is red in colour.

A Reindeer Called Horse ; See "Sometimes Unicorn" Miranda Keeling story above.

Croatoan : The word "Croatoan", found carved into a tree on Roanoke Island at the site of the Lost Colony in 1590.

Davy Jones's Filing Cabinet : Like Davy Jones's Locker but more orderly.

Mictlan, Land of the Dead : If you're Aztec.
