I relased this tune years ago as Max O. Menos and it is still around on a very bad Swedish streaming service. I do no longer have access to the old release (the publisher no longer exists) but still love the sad, yet powerful and sweet atmosphere and calm this little composition exudes.
I am particularly fond of the slight detune between the bells and the Mellotron vibraphone that adds to the overall feeling of sadness, or rather, saudade.
As for the title: Kampana (Καμπάνα) in Greek means ‘bell,’ while the meaning of orea (ωραία) can be ‘beautiful’ or ‘great in height.’
