Stagnant Dreams is a sonic documentation of hidden folklore. It moves from the quiet spirits trapped in the shifting landscape. These are "stagnant" dreams because they belong to people and legends that the modern world has moved past, but the land refused to forget.
The album explores the grit and the "meat" of these local legends, stripping away the polish to reveal the raw reality of those who tried to live outside the lines. Each track is a marker for a story that has stopped flowing, becoming a permanent part of the geography.
Blending the cold, mechanical grit of Industrial Trap with the mossy, atmospheric rot of Dark Folk, Stagnant Dreams creates a "liminal space." It is the sound of a "vigil in the tangled crawl," where the "iron" of the cemetery gates is slowly being digested by the "ashes" of the forest.
